Welcome to the website of the Dallas Committee on Foreign Relations! Since 1987, DCFR’s mission has been to provide our members with high quality programming that addresses the most important foreign policy issues of the day and highlights the emerging trends of tomorrow. We bring experts and policymakers to the DFW area where they can meet and interact with our membership in a confidential, intimate environment designed to ensure a robust exchange of views. Our members are leaders in business, law, health care, technology, and academia. Many have had substantial international experience ranging from ambassadorships to senior executive roles in global corporations and high-ranking positions in the armed forces. We are always seeking new members. Please peruse our website to learn more about our organization and if interested in membership contact us at dcfr@dallascfr.org.
-Jay Young, DCFR President
We host monthly events to promote knowledge of global affairs and a deeper understanding of the people and events impacting important policy choices. We usually hold nine programs per year over lunch, dinner or happy hour. Our Q&A environment is informative, engaging, and memorable. Regular DCFR forums, governed according to Chatham House Rule, are closed to the general public and are off the record.
Since our founding in 1987, we have had the honor of hosting speakers from all over the world representing numerous countries and their government. We are honored and take pride in a long standing tradition of being the first and premier global affairs organization in Dallas.
