Massachusetts Systems Contractors Association Welcomes Shannon Few as New Executive Director

Sharon, MA – The Massachusetts Systems Contractors Association (MSCA) is proud to announce the appointment of Shannon Few as its new Executive Director. With extensive experience in association leadership and a strong background in the electronic security and low voltage industry, Few brings fresh approach, energy, and visition to advancing the mission of MSCA.

“Shannon Few brings a remarkable combination of leadership experience, industry knowledge, and passion for supporting our members,” said Paul Wright, President of MSCA. “As our industry continues to evolve, her vision and dedication will help ensure that MSCA remains a strong and influential voice for security professionals across Massachusetts. We are confident that as Shannon comes alongside our existing MSCA team, our association will continue to grow, expand opportunities for our members, and strengthen the value we provide to the companies and professionals we represent.”

As Executive Director, Few is driving a number of initiatives designed to enhance the value of the association, expand our online educational opportunities, strengthen our events, and enhance member engagement statewide. The intent is to bring new benefits, resources, and connections to members. Jessica Nelson continues in her role as Education and Marketing Coordinator, serving as our primary point person for all in-person training. Dani Fancioni continues her role as Office Manager, overseeing day-to-day office operations for MSCA.

“I am honored to step into the role of Executive Director for MSCA and to work alongside such an incredible team with Jessica and Dani as well as our dedicated members and industry partners,” said Shannon Few. “This industry plays a critical role in protecting people, property, and communities, and MSCA is essential in 'Representing and Educating' the companies and individuals who make that possible. I look forward to working with our Board, team, and members to expand  our events and training opportunities, strengthen our professional network, and continue building programs that deliver meaningful value to electronic security systems professionals across Massachusetts.”

MSCA is now better poised to build on its strong foundation while ushering in a new era of growth and member-focused initiatives for Massachusetts’s professional electronic systems technicians, including those licensed under the Board of State Examiners of Electricians:

Representing and Educating the Electronic Systems Industry since 1978, MSCA is a trade association of companies that are actively and currently engaged in the business of installing, servicing, and  supplying “electronic systems”. Established in 1978 as the Massachusetts Security Contractors Association, the name changed to Massachusetts Burglar & Fire Alarm Association in 1991. On January 15, 2003, we became the Massachusetts Systems Contractors Association, lnc. We now have a membership of more than 130 companies.
