Expo Events

We have worked hard on making the Expo Hall “the place to be” this year. Each member will be given an EXPO PASSPORT that they must have stamped. Every booth number is printed on the card. We will supply a stamp for you to mark the card. Members can turn in their card for a drawing at the end for a chance to win a $500 gift card.
Our theme this year is "Masters of Facilities." In a true golfing theme, we will have small putting greens on every row and promote random contests. There will be a drawing for the putting greens during the closing giveaway. Yes, you can participate in this drawing!
The opening Expo Cocktail Hour will include introductions and other interactive events.
Business Partner Giveaways: FLAPPA always appreciates the giveaways our partners bring for our members. To ensure fairness and transparency in all promotional drawings, business partners must follow these simple guidelines when selecting entries:
Use the Randomizer Tool—All member names will be placed into a randomizer that will generate a name for the winner. A randomizer is a tool used to select winners from a pool of entries in a way that is unpredictable and fair. It will remove names from the mix after that name has been selected once.
or
Hand-Selecting Cards—FLAPPA asks that when hand-selecting a business card, the item and card be brought to the podium to be presented.
For any questions concerning giveaways, please see Allen Masters.

Load-Out

Booths can be taken down at the conclusion of the giveaway. Please be sure to take all your products with you. If you are shipping items, please take them to the FedEx store on the main level. Fed Ex Instructions

Other ways to engage

There will be ping pong and cornhole set up in the lobby outside the Florida Ballroom. We will also have a bracket that players can post their wins on. A pickleball court will also be set up for our use. We have reserved times on 4/1 from 2 PM to 4 PM and on 4/2 from 6 PM to 8 PM. You can also play outside those hours as well. At the dinner party 4/2, 6:30-8:30pm, there will be a final game for each sport. Join the fun. Come dressed up and enter the “Best Sports Attire” contest. Dinner will not disappoint!

An interesting Opportunity

On Thursday (4/2) at 2:30pm there will be a round table discussion for institution members on predictive maintenance. Roundtable Discussion - From Signal to Solution: Turning Predictive Insights into Preventive Action on Campus
FLAPPA business partners are invited (one per company) to attend this discussion as an observer. Members will be engaging in discussion regarding solutions for predictive maintenance. Notes will be compiled and available to you after the discussion. Business partners need to sign in when they come into the classroom, and seating will be in the back.

Please ensure your booth attendees have been submitted or updated. We look forward to a great show.
