Allen Masters

President

Allen Masters serves at the Associate Vice President at Daytona State College.  He is responsible for both Maintenance Operations as well as Planning and Construction. He has over 30 years of facilities experience, with 15 years in higher education, including Eastern Florida College and the University of Florida.  He is a Certified Educational Facilities Professional through APPA and has held certifications in LEED and Green Globes.   He is as member of APPA, SRAPPA, FLAPPA and FEFPA.  He currently serves on the FLAPPA board as President.

Chad Caldwell

Chad Caldwell is the Assistant Director of Maintenance Services for The School District of Lee County.  Chad is married to Lisa, and he has 2 daughters ages 7 and 3. Chad’s hobbies include recreational boating, fishing, and racing on-road/off-road RC vehicles.”

Ron Dalton

Past President

Ron Dalton is the outgoing President of FLAPPA and served as President since 2023.  Ron is the Director of Maintenance Operations for Housing at Florida Gulf Coast University.  He has also served at the University of South Carolina Upstate, University of North Carolina Greensboro, High Point University (NC), Ball State University (IN), and Louisburg College (NC).  Ron also worked outside the field of higher education for 2 ½ years as a Human Resource Manager and Training Coordinator for Newell Rubbermaid’s Levolor Blind’s division.
