ABOUT THE TEXAS A&M LETTERMEN'S ASSOCIATION
The Texas A&M Lettermen's Association is an independent, 501(c)(7) fraternal organization and an Affiliated Support Organization of Texas A&M University. Established in 1974 by 180 former student-athletes, the Association was created to build a lifelong community of Aggie Lettermen and to support the traditions and excellence of Texas A&M Athletics.
Originally an extension of the on-campus T-Association and initially limited to male members, the organization proudly welcomed women in 1983. Today, our membership spans more than 70 class years and includes former student-athletes from every intercollegiate sport sponsored by the university.
The Lettermen's Association plays a vital role in celebrating the legacy of Aggie Athletics. From selecting and presenting the Texas A&M Athletic Hall of Fame, Hall of Honor, and Lettermen's Lifetime Achievement Award at the annual Burgess Banquet to recognizing the achievements of current student-athletes, we honor the past while investing in the future.
A crowning achievement in our history is the Jackie Sherrill Lettermen's Club located in the heart of Kyle Field. This premier facility honors former athletes and serves as a vibrant gathering space for fellowship on game days and at special events.
With strong leadership, loyal members, and a shared commitment to Texas A&M, the Lettermen's Association continues to honor the past, engage the present, and support the future.
MISSION
The mission of the Texas A&M Lettermen's Association is to provide opportunities for Aggie letterwinners and coaches to connect with each other and the Athletic Department through reunions and other fellowship events, annually recognize their past extraordinary achievements at the Burgess Banquet, and to participate in the support of current student-athletes and the Athletic Department.
VISION
The Texas A&M Lettermen's Association strives to be a visionary homebase for former student-athletes, extending beyond the physicality of College Station, Texas. The organization embodies a culture that continues to foster, bridge and fellowship former student-athletes from all sports, career paths and generations. It celebrates the achievements of letterwinners and inspires a culture of excellence. The organization seeks to create early engagement opportunities with current student-athletes regarding the mission and purpose of the Lettermen's Association.
